Belmont Membership Application (pdf)

Belmont Demographics and Interest (pdf)

At Belmont, we understand that church membership is an important decision, one that should be made prayerfully and with much thought. To help you find arrive at your decision, we want to provide you with necessary information. Below is our criteria for church membership. If you have questions concerning any of the items listed here, we invite you to speak with your cell leader, or call our Membership Services office. We can be reached at 256-2123, ext. 235.

Criteria For Belmont Membership

  1. A personal affirmation that you have accepted Christ Jesus as Savior and Lord.
  2. You agree with the following biblical truths:
    a) One God, the Father Almighty, Maker of Heaven and Earth.
    b) Jesus Christ God's only Son, our only Lord and Savior, conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, crucified for our sins, risen again from the dead the third day, ascended to the Father, sitting at His right hand, coming again as Judge and King.
    c) The Holy Spirit has been sent to all believers.
    d) The Word of God (the Bible) is our ultimate authority for faith and practice.
    e) There is one church universal, one family of believers.
    f) Our salvation comes only through faith in Jesus Christ.
  3. You believe that the Lord wants you to be a part of this church. If you are leaving another church, then it is important to us that you have left your former fellowship in the spirit of the Lord. You need to inform your former church of this pending membership change.
  4. You acknowledge and are in agreement that the Belmont pastors and elders have a pastoral responsibility in your life.
  5. You commit to support the work of God being done through the Belmont Church with your time, gifts, abilities and finances.
  6. You are encouraged to attend The Kingdom Journey. The four Kingdom Journey Pathways will help you in knowing what Belmont is about and can answer any questions you may have.

Belmont Church believes that Godly relationships are key to us fully experiencing all that Christ has for us. We desire to be a "cell-based" church where every member is encouraged to walk in community with other believers.

We have 4 types of cells (family/intergenerational, special interest, support, and equipping) and other venues that help facilitate this. Our goal is that all members have meaningful relationships that encourage growth and maturity.

If you are interested in membership, each adult should sign the Belmont Covenant and fill out an application form. You may do so online, or you may print a copy of the form and turn it in to your cell leader, who can help you with questions you may have.

If you are interested in membership, each adult (18 and over) should fill out both forms below and submit them to the Member Services Department or turn them in at the Welcome Desk. Someone will be in contact with you to finialize this process. If you need further information please call the office, 256-2123, ext. 235, or email us.
