Belmont Women’s Ministries has a new logo and a new name… The Belmont Girls! Why, you might ask? Well, because we would love to see the breadth of the generations present in every activity in and beyond the walls of Belmont Church…the older ladies teaching the younger and the younger bringing their vitality and zeal to the older. We truly need each other. And no matter how old you become, you still refer to your girlfriends as “the girls”!
What is the purpose of the ministry to the ladies / gals / girls at Belmont Church? Our desire is to see encouragement and equipping flowing among us, to see each of us released into what we were called to be and do, and to connect with one another through depth of relationship and friendship in the community in which we share.
What I have observed during my years at Belmont is an extraordinary group of women who walk in compassionate servant-hood, continually seek to go deeper with the Lord, and wholeheartedly and with great abandon worship their Creator God. It is an honor and a privilege to link arms and rub shoulders with these lovely saints. And we look forward to what the Lord has in store for us in the coming weeks, months, and years! |
