Worship & Arts

One of the hallmarks of Belmont gathering’s is our passionate commitment to worship and our desire for continued growth in our worship experiences. From a historically strong a cappella hymn background, to our current contemporary expression of songs, which marries the old with the new ~ we are a people that receive the phrase “Praise the Lord” with great joy.

From dance to drama, banners to drum corps, celebration choirs to worship bands that simply know how to ‘rock it out’; it is all done to exalt the Lord Jesus. Various expressions of the arts such as painting, photography, and sculpting are also used throughout our community to express the many facets of the character and heart of God.

The Worship and Arts departmental goal is to help cultivate these various expressions of worship not only in our corporate gatherings; but we also want encourage and help the individual to experience a personally devoted worship life through the arts.

Through teaching of scripture, training artists in the Theology of Worship, and most importantly, being able to socialize in laid back artistic atmosphere, Belmont Church continues to explore and discover how wide and how deep is the Father’s love for us.
