Our Beginning
1911: a tent meeting happened on the corner of Grand Ave and Belmont Ave which was the birth of Belmont Church of Christ. For 60+ years, this community based church remained faithful to her roots and heritage.
40 Year Anniversary
In 2011, we created this documentary about the history of Belmont Church focusing primarily 1971-2011. Once again, Belmont "looks" different as some of the faces have changed but Our Core remains the same as we seek to experience God's kingdom on earth.
Our Legacy
Passionate, Jesus worship music has been and continues to be a staple of Belmont Church. In 2019, the Nashville Historic Commission placed a marker in front of Koinonia (now The Well @ Koinonia) to acknowledge the significance of what the Lord accomplished through music on this corner.

The 80s / 90s
As the Lord expanded our impact, our need for space also grew. The decision was made to remain on Music Row at 68 Music Square East and so the construction of our Worship Center began. We met at West End Middle School for a few years in the 80s.

Today
Through the decades, Belmont Church remains focused on Jesus, the Kingdom of God, the active work of the Holy Spirit and living out the greatest commandment - loving God and loving others as ourselves.
We hope you can join our story as we continue our role in His story both in Nashville and throughout the globe.
